What is a naturopathic consultation?
A naturopathic consultation is a holistic approach to health and wellness. During the consultation, we explore your health history, current concerns, and lifestyle to uncover the root cause of your health issues. We then work together to create a personalised treatment plan that may include nutritional guidance, supplements, herbal medicine, and lifestyle changes to support your body’s natural healing process.
How do I prepare for my first consultation?
For your first consultation, you’ll need to fill out a health intake form detailing your health history, current symptoms, and lifestyle. This helps us gain a comprehensive understanding of your health and how we can best support you. You may also be asked about any medications or treatments you're currently using. It may be helpful to provide us with any recent pathology results, including bloodwork, or previous functional testing that you may have undertaken.
Can I bring my child to their consultation?
Yes, we welcome children during their consultations. In fact, having your child present can help us understand their needs better. However, if you prefer, you may also choose to attend the consultation alone, and we can provide you with the necessary information to address your child’s health.
How often should I book a naturopathic consultation?
The frequency of consultations depends on your individual health needs. For new clients, we usually recommend an initial consultation followed by a follow-up session after a few weeks to monitor progress and your response to any prescribed treatments. We’ll discuss an appropriate schedule based on your treatment plan.
Are herbs and supplements included in the price?
Herbs and supplements are not automatically included in the consultation price. During your consultation, we will assess your needs and may recommend specific herbal remedies, supplements, or lifestyle adjustments to support your healing. If any herbs or supplements are recommended, they will be priced separately, and we will discuss the costs with you before any purchases are made. Our goal is to provide you with the most effective and personalized treatment options for your health.
Is there a cancellation policy?
Yes, we kindly request at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a fee. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make changes to your booking.
